Word on the street is Apple could flip its usual playbook and launch the base iPhone 18 in the spring while the Pro models show up later in the fall.
Instead of one big September circus, we might get two separate hype cycles.
Reports keep swirling that Apple's been cooking up a foldable for years, and some insiders think we could finally see it around this generation or the next one.
Samsung and Google have been living in foldable-land for a minute, so Apple showing up late to the party with a $2,000 flip phone is peak "fashionably late" energy.
The A20 chip is the rumored name, and it's supposedly built on a 2-nanometer process, which basically means faster and more battery-friendly.
For us normal people that translates to: your phone won't die at 4pm anymore.
