A car with 300 miles of range and access to a reliable fast-charging route beats a car with 400 miles and a prayer every time.

The real competition in 2025 isn't range.

It's whether the plug works when you're 200 miles from home with 8% battery and a kid in the back seat.

My take: the automakers keep selling range like it's the finish line, but the charging network is the actual product.

Final Thoughts

Until reliability data becomes as public and standardized as crash-test ratings, every "available" pin on the map is a small act of marketing fiction.
