Apple pushed a new iPadOS build this week, and if you own a recent iPad, you may have already met the little gray progress bar that refuses to finish.
Owners are flooding forums with reports of devices stuck in a boot loop, iPads that won't charge past a black screen, and one guy whose tablet now only shows the Apple logo like it's auditioning for a museum exhibit.
The update was supposed to be a boring maintenance release.
